Native Thickets - What Are They?
A native thicket is a natural wall that exists in the middle of a prairie. It can be full of tons of edible plants like beach plums, which are incredibly important for habitat and wild animals. A lot of species co-evolved with those existing on the landscape. We're trying to get those back out there by talking about them and getting people to recognize their value.
