Every day, almost literally every day, there is something new that i learn that is amazing to me. Slugs have a remnant shell or were born without one. If you're going to eat slugs or snails, do not eat them raw. There are many, man many reasons why you should not have a giant african land snail asipet. And this is one that i just learned in the last 12 hours. Apparently if you wrap the top of your banana stems, they sometimes come wrapped in plastic, but you can wrap em in foil or bees wax cloth. That traps the etheline gas in your bananas, which tells the rest of the banana to ripen.
