The National Radio Quiet Zone
The most powerful radio telescope in our hemisphere is now at the green bank observatory in west virginia. And if you want to listen to the sky, you have to make sure you're not drowned out by basically light pollution from other sources of radio emission. That sounds like a great place to visit for a vacation. I mean, you go a little crazy the first couple of days, but maybe we reach some sor of sand state afterwards.
