The Battle for the German Identity
This is 1871, it's the creation of German. It's essentially a battle between Bismarck, the Chancellor, the National Liberals, and you could use small Librils as well versus the Catholic Church. But behind all of that, really what's happening is a struggle for what it means to be German. The most obvious group to go for are the Catholics. A new party has sprung up in 1870 called the Centre Party. This party would go all the way through until it was basically eventually dismantled by Hitler.
