The Memorial Day Is the Only Thing We Can Do

The withdrawal from afghanistan has further complicated the notion of gratitude. The country is not the government, and the government is not the country. When i saw somebody falling off a c 17, you know, i said, i don't believe this is my country. What matters is we live in disney land. People have gone through hell so that  we can take it for granted. We are what America is because there's a force around that field which makes us proud.
