The Fed's Going Full on No Hope Crash Landing
The two-year treasury has pulled back from 4.5% and went toward 4.3%. That's like a lot when it comes to percentages. I haven't seen so many people scared about doing actual core business, you know, this stuff with money since 2008. What fuels Powell's confidence? I think it's what he learned in 2018 when he overdid the rate hike talk and almost threw us into recession.
