The Differences Between 200 and 204 Piece Puzzles
Jigsaw puzzles are very specifically put in 204 exact pieces. The reason is 200 has terrible factors, and so they switch from the advertised number to the real number. So by having a few more pieces, they can have a grid which is way closer to the picture that's on the puzzle. It says in big letters that the finished puzzle is 49 centimeters by 36 centimeters,. But there are no factors of 200 which are anywhere near that ratio.
