The Fire Department Searches Our House

When Ana was a kid, her mother locked her in her room at night. She had heard something or somebody inside of the house and stamping up the basement steps. At the same exact time, i was dreaming of a giant cartoonish cat chasing me up those stairs. Within five minutes, the entire fire department showed up at our house. They found nobody but us. We all talk about it sometimes and still have no way to explain what the hell we saw. And we never drive through that subdivision tat night.
