The Invitation From Christ on the Cross Is to Change Your Nature
In the midst of ridicule and mocking, he did not bite back. In that darkness where he has now been abandoned by everyone, everything, and God himself, he still completes his mission. C.S. Lewis in the Screwtape letter says, this is one devil speaking to an apprentice devil. Our cause is never more in danger than when a human, no more desiring, but still intending to do God's will.
