What Will China Do About COVID?
If Xi were to get everything right now, what would they actually do? I can see a situation in which China managed to secure a huge vaccine supply for Pfizer or Moderna. And then the Chinese government could say, we're going to give everybody free doses of this vaccine. But even trying to make that a success story is completely contradictory to the messaging of the last three years. It's been saying you can have vaccines, but it's not safe enough to lift the lockdowns.
