What Is the Gm Title?

The way that i became a fide master was one in a pari pan american youth event, under ten. I just really feel that it's not even close to being fair. A lot of people strive for the gm title, do maki, and a lot of people get it very unfairlyand it's all very unfair. The gm title itself doesn't really give you much in the chess world, right? So if you unfairly get a gem title and then you disappear, ye, because you were never that strengthnd - why w what did you gain out of it? Exactly, you know, a fake title.
