Slow Worms

Autumn is a great time for herbs, and slow worms relish the cooler conditions. Slowworms live on railway embankments and gulf courses - they're very common in my allotment. They are harmless to you and your pets and your plants so don't pick them up or harm them. It's worth trying to support them in the same way that you support other wild life. Like having a source of water,. plenty of cover to defend from their not too numerous prejedice, longish grassis, a bit of wild floweradow on. Accesses to waste land, railway Embankments behind your house, and lots of room to roam if you can't really fence
