Are Tax Cuts Going to Help the People in the Middle?
There are huge implications for not having this money to spend on improving the quality of public services instead. We've just come through a pandemic and it showed us how under-resourced our public services are. This is a time where we need revenue. We don't need tax cuts. And there are other factors working against us, including some pressures on the budget, which were not disclosed or booked by the previous government.
