Is There a Stable, Prosperous World Order?

We live in this crazy stacking of complex abstractions. We all depend on each other and the sition of those abstractions in incredibly complicated ways. And i think we underestimate a how valuable it is to have a stable equilibrium where all those things can continue to develop. The development just happens to accrue mostly to public good.
