What Is the Chain of Custody on Data?
A lot of times companies, edo if it isn't kind of the high value data at the time, they aren't securing it in the same way. So i like to tell companies, if you have data that has a low business value, it has a high siber or privacy risk. There are times when we still have to destroy drives, non functioning drives can't be overwritten. But clyde's making that realization that it's really the data that carries a risk, a to the tune of tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars. That's sort of a a sea change, a that we are staing to see more and more, thankfully.
