The Story of Usuf

Yusef is the main character in Gurna's novel. He has one important attribute: he is exceptionally beautiful, gifted enough that people notice it and marvel at it. His uncle azis is an arab trader who practises some thing that is frowned upon - lending money to a lot of people so they give him their children as slaves. And how jusef ends up being with uncle z is very philosophical,. very mysterious; we see him through jusef's eyes.
