What Is the Point of CS Lewis's Theology?

CS Lewis tries to help us see how we can think of Christ being both God and man. He had this idea that Christianity was a theory about what Christ did on the cross. And then he began to realize that actually Christianity was not about a theory, it was about primarily something really having happened. The fact that this has happened makes us ask who must Jesus be if he is able to do this.
