The union has built an extremely high level of direct involvement in decision making processes and in activism. The people who take the decisions in this union on what we do politically or what we're do industrially, are illay workers. People don't realize how small we are. We've got something like nightly staff. That is it. 99 % of what we do is delivered through rank and file voluntary activism. And the key to tat is or democracy. So there's no decision that can be made in this union that's not made directly by a worker from the industry,. Not me, not me, no officers. It has to be made by neof the rank of our workers
