Narcissistic abuse is a pattern of behaviors. Never will I tell a client, you're with someone who has narcissistic personality disorder. We are using psychoeducation to help that person understand the type of relationship cycle they are caught in. If both parents are narcissistic, the children lack emotional attunement with their parents and therefore the world.
