The Rhetoric of Niliblization and Rent-Seeking
Rontierization has pretty much been one of, perhaps most ant, product of the nilbe revolution of the 19 seventies. But do you find it at all surprising the extent to which there is this extraordinary disconnect between rhetoric and reality? It seems as if the unction to be entrapenorial and to be competitive is more taken up by people in the labor market than it is regarding business. You knowe liberals long since made peacew with monopoly of various kinds. And they did so on the ground that ultimately, i think, relatively spurious grounds that monopoly could provide greater consumer welfare tn than competition.
