The Story of Utse, a Coppersmith
This week, we look at the remains of a calcalithic man. His tooth enamel tells us where he grew up as a child and demonstrate his grain-rich diet. Chemical analysis of his body tells us about his ailments. The presence of 61 tattoos near his joints suggests a method of treatment for his apparent arthoritus. Palinology of the most recent pollen on his body tell us what time of year he died. And his finger nails tell a story of periods of illness in his last few months alive. All of this scientific study allow me to construct what may not be a completely accurate story, but none the less, a reasonable one with all the evidence to hand.
