I think the organic intellectual part of this comes in when we're thinking about how it is that the classes, the popular classes side with one position or another. How does that consent manufactured? Or like, I think the Leninist formulation was, we'll try to make, get the peasants on our side, but if they don't, we'll just have to crush them. And so I think Grant, he's trying to think like, well, if this happened in Italy, how do we get people on our side?
