A wallagwin, at the time, was happily married, raising three children. She didn't see a femina m that included her or feared that the feminism didn't include her. A lot of feminism was daughters rebelling against their mothers and and against motherhood. And so she was not seeing herself reflected in feminism. How do you think about writing and motherhood without subtracting status from the writing?
