Why Not Prosecute Trump for Negligent Homicide?
Criminal law does not punish people for acts of negligence. There have been arguments to the effect that, you know, trump could be effectively prosecuted for his failure to act during the three hours that he was in the white house. Mentioned the committee has been pursuing two theories that seem to be getting some traction among the public and then there are more discreet theories of potential criminal misconduct.
