Using Public Wi-Fi to Conduct Online Research

Public Wi-Fi is often used by people who want to be anonymous. It's especially important that if you're doing online research from a personal device or from your own personal internet connection, that you maintain some kind of management of your attribution. And so things like using an isolated browsing environment, some kind of cloud-based browser, along with an egress that is typical for the targets that you're investigating.
