Self Compassion Is Good for Relationships

We all have to feel special and above average just for base line feel good about ourselves. We do it subtly, maybe not even intentionally, but we're always trying,. if we can get away with it, to subtly put others down and puff ourselves up in comparison. But i think what i hear you saying is that this is like a sugar hige. It's sort of a transient burst that you get, but it's ome ways keeping us from exercising the kind of compassion that can actually draw us closer to other people or closer to our selves.
