What Makes an Historical Event Underrated?
Josh: What I think makes an historical event underrated is plain and simply kind of like what Scott said, it's who history remembers or does not remember value in the right way. The one that just immediately occurs to me is Paul Revere, whose name all of us know. And we know that primarily because of a poem by Longfellow, Paul Revere's Ride. But there was another writer named Israel Bissell, who wrote a great deal further than Paul Revere. You could argue did more, but he's not valued by history in the same way as Paul Revere are why you could say in a word marketing.
