The final page or so of Marylyn robinson's first novel has always stood out to me as just unbearably beautiful. A passage i can read without ruining anything for anybody is about the characters, in a sense, but you don't need to know that. It's it's also about just the sheer beauty of this language. I'm not jealous. She is a magnificent writer, and this is an extraordinary achievement o this novel. So this is, this is the end of housekeeping. All. This is fact. Fact explains nothing.
