The Ten Commandments Are Hierarchical
The Ten Commandments are hierarchical. Violating the ones higher up the list is worse than violating the ones further down the list. So it is worse to have a false God than it is to steal from your neighbor. This is obvious to just human beings. It's obvious to everyone. But also in Scripture, there is the unforgivable sin. And that actually touches on one of two ways in which it should be incredibly obvious for Christians that certain sins are worse than others.
