The Rise of Generative AI

With the rise of generative AI, I think intellectual property and to some extent, maybe later on privacy will become obstacles. So there's going to be barriers to just using whatever data you come across. There'll be lots of reasons why people may end up training their own version of these foundation models in-house if they're a company. And so scaling loss for transfer learning, they don't work very well.
