But how might the affordances of search engines, when used by ideologically motivated individuals, contribute to an unhealthy information ecosystem? Dr. Francesca Tripodi has a new book out on the subject, The Propagandists' Playbook: How Conservative Elites Manipulate Search and Threaten Democracy, which I had the chance to discuss with her this week.
