I Liked the First Book
For me, particularly the first book, but it is wonderfully written and the characters are really rich. It fell off a lot for me in books two and three. I felt like the cocktail hours and stuff, they just were a chore. And then there's descriptions where he's introducing the characters are just so, so good. Even like Ferdish Dinko or whatever, ends up being how his underused in the rest of the book is almost disappointing.
