Sports washing is a strategy to so entangle American commercial interests that it makes it hard for the State Department to then draw red lines, right? So there was a lot of American money in Moscow. It complicated deliberations over what to do about the Ukraine situation. Same thing with Beijing, same thing with Saudi Arabia. Senator Richard Blumenthal has announced that he's going to hold hearings into this merger, the PGA tour Saudi deal. We'll see what the 10 point deal memo actually says. Hopefully it will be disclosed and we'll understand what the real ramifications of this are.
