Is F.D.R. The Last American?

F.D.R. was basically through a number of complicated circumstances, some of them involving a skullduggery on his part. FDR's cabinet operated like the C-suite of an executive software company which is not how federal government functions today. The new deal is full of things like, I've just been reading the diaries of FDR's Interior Secretary Harold Ickes. And if you look at Manhattan, you'll notice that it runs exactly like a startup down to the two co-founders. Every startup is a monarchy.
