The Correlation Between Experts and Elites

Being good looking is not a form of expertise, even if it gets you more people listening to you. The higher and management hierarchies are better looking. Right. But like, these are the things they know you're as not be relevant to your expertise in those issues. It's relevant to getting people to accept you as leader and as someone to listen. So just like public intellectuals, public intellectuals often just have a distinctive style and they just are good writers. And that's a powerful skill that is selected for in being in that role.
