The History of the Altair
When the Altair came out, it seemed as if it was born ex nylo from a fledgling, hippie counterculture slightly on them. The same technology that allowed you to have a computer in your bedroom for the first time allows Oliver North to run a secret government with 10 guys and a set of laptops. And that history is much less well told because it reflects less well on the industry. But it's like, that's a park spinoff, you know? That produces the laptop that the intelligent services uses comes from the exact same place. Exactly.
