The Importance of Free Speech

Kanye West show was a great moment in journalism because you allowed him an opportunity to defend himself and he walked away. The boycotts were actually making people double down on their support of him. You don't win by shutting other people down. You win by opening debate, challenging people. And that did more to debunk what he was saying than Ari Emanuel in Hollywood organizing boycotts. But where's the New York Times headlines? How can I think it's so blurry? I couldn't really tell what was going on when I saw it. Apparently, they really think that just the blurriness is wise and not being shared. It could be, but what they want is clicks. So
