When i was younger, jesus was just this friend, and just felt him, and i loved him. It was adolescence when i started to lose it. And that bitterness grew into an insatiable appetite to know the truth about jesus. I returned to something that was elemental, something i didn't need to rationalize. Like you said in our previous visit, there's no substitute for sitting across from somebody and connecting with them.
