The Hubble Sphere Is Expanding
As the universe expands, so does the hubble sphere. It means we can see light from things that were moving away from us faster than the speed of light. But around seven and a half billion years into the age of the universe, something happened. Dark energy took over and started to accelerate the expansion of the universe. That has the effect of actually shrinking theHubble sphere. So now there are things that are so far away from us and moving away from us so quickly that we will never see them. If dark energy continues, then it will shrink basically to zero. And what's the furthest thing that we will ever see? Well, currently we can see things at about forty
