The Call for Mall Violence in Nauvoo

On June 12, one of the leaders of the anti-Mormon party published an unambiguous call for violence in the Warsaw Signal. Rick Turley: Thomas Sharpe made a brazen call for mall violence. He says from a strictly legal perspective, what Nauvoo city officials should have actually been facing in the courts was far less severe than what Sharpe and company thought that Joseph Smith and the Saints deserved.
