The Nazi party had a rural focus, which appealed to the world German worker. In 1928 they would receive just 2.6% of the nationwide vote and 12 members in the Reichstag. They were not non-existent, and in some regional elections they gained far more support. But they still had a long way to go if they wanted to accomplish their goals.
