happens when you go for someone like me, i don't know what i'm doing sother like, what do you want? And i'm like, i've no idea. And when the person whom you're working with always does is they go to the back and they get up frames with a bunch ferent colors, and they get different things to mock up, and then they put it all in front of you. And now youre like, well, i don't like that. I don't like that. I don't li oh, i like this one. Ok, let's go figure this one actually, i wante different kind of wood, and five minutes ago, i don't even realized that there was dark wood, there was whit, lightwood, there was ash, there was pine. Like didn't even occur to me. And now i can inch towards whatever the optimal outcome is. I

get people to think more clearly about the things i care about? Ou, it' funny, there's been it theres there there was a moment when i actually was like, maybe i should like a run for office, and not because no interest in being a politician. The think that the impulse was, it annoys me how how much better candidates could be campaigning. Why like s if i nt just basically, it was because i wanted, like, show how a campaign could be run. You're listening to the voice of tim irvin. So what i would do is, i would, first of all, i would come up with my nouh 20 policy positions, and i would write a blog post on each, and i would have a utu video with a white board on each. And i would be funny and formal about it. I wouldn't be stiff, right? And i would be totally myself. And i would be very open about i i don't know actually that much about these three sectors. Also, i would definitely want to hire, iou know, i'd want to appoint people to help me with, i don know, basically. And then i woud for debates. I would openly welcome to bit. Iould take any other politician runing against me. Nd, i'd be like a, lets do debate on you two, but, you know, we can agree on the rules together. I'd be simple about it. Now, again, i'm sure this is easy to say from where i'm sitting, and there's all all kinds of reasons that this would not work somehow. But it's more that this is also, i've also, for the same reason, want until i start a political party, not because i really like mainly because i want to set up the debates the way i like, im between the candidates and the nomination process. And i just fel t there're so many ways to do things new. So all that's said, i will never run for office. I have no interest in being a politician. I think it just sounds awful. I think it sounds like such a constrained way to get your thing across, like to convince people. You're so constrained by all this other stuff, like having to campaign, and having to be within the tribe of the uniform you're wearing, o the tribe itself. If you're a democrat, that's putits. That's not being a a loyal democrat. You will get destroyed by the democrats, you know. And if you're a hard corp democrat, now you're, now you're being a tribl you know. That's op as. That's the oppositeof what i want to be. So for me, i'm right, it just sounds awful. I kind of think a media platform like i have, likelik you will have, is a pretty pretty damned good way tto to, you know, to spread ideas that you care about. And am and, you know, i look, i'm writing about thi stuff now that has a lot to do with politics. And because my, my, a, what, one of thea blog posts made the rounds last year about this, i got invited to speak a, a, at a conference in front of 50 congressmen, you know, a bli o case onand i can influence politics in different ways, im, without having to go and like spend all my time raising money and campaigning and like, not doing what i what i want to be doing.
