What i hear constantly from younger people who are trying to make it in my industry is, i'm building a brand. And i'll try to gently say, authenticity. You aren't a brand. What is your personality? Make that your brand. Because if you're trying to build a brand that isn't you, some point that is going to come out. It's a simple statement, but one's what one did yesterday is the best predictor of what one is going to do to morrow. I joke around a lot, i make a lot of jokes, et cetera. But i'm very consistent in certain things that i do.
