In your book, you focus on how the global cold war period influenced american politics and American society back home. How did the cold walr effect America? Well, there are several ways, of course. The first way that the cold war affects society is that it creates employment on a large scale. World war two brought low wage workers, blacks and women into the work force. Cold war essentially creates economic opportunities for those who can benefit from them most.
