What Is a Deflection in Hockey?

Lieutenant Commander Scott Davis was originally planning on a career in hockey. He had received a letter of request to attend the Washington Capitals training camp but as luck would have it I hurt my shoulder and was not able to attend the training camp. At the same time that he was being recruited by the caps he'd also placed an application with the Barrington Police Department which is 40 miles northwest of Chicago.
