The American Economy at 20 % Interest Rates
If you want to borrow, you got to borrow from somebody who wants to lend. And it turned out that the market set that price a i think it piqued at roughly 20 % interest rates. The market is going to take a rate that is at least enough to cover expected inflation. If inflation is running high, then your interest rate has to be running above that. I mean, It's not even, it's just supplying demand in lending and borrowing.
