The Right Tool for the Job
We're always looking for a better tool for the job. We've gone from carrier pigeons to smoke signals to telegraph, right? Same aim. So we adopt better and better tools. When it comes to money, gold became money through this process. No matter how much time, effort, or energy humans allocated towards gold production, the supply of gold increased the most slowly.
