What's Getting Left Out of the News Cycle?
I think it's really important to look at what gets left out of those pieces. There was no information about the risks that trans women face in prisons. The stain of that vulgarity and obscenity is transferred to trans people writ large. I would push back a little bit on the idea that there's no sensationalizing or that it's sort of more balanced in a way.
