Do You Need Incremental Refresh?
If you're doing ninkermental refresh, it should be two or three steps only. You want to do everything in a view up stream. It depends on your model size. 15 to 30 minutes is a long refresh time when we're sarting to get long and large table sizes. And if that query can't hit that data and give you that whole table at 500 thousand records in less than couple of minutes, i'm probably going to start looking at incremental refresh.
