My parents stood on either side of the table like two undertakers lost in thought. My mother pinched my cheeks, combed my hair and straightened out my clothes. She pointed to a faded picture on the wall. Can you tell me who those two girls are? I answered immediately. They were my sisters. Don't speak to the monster unless spoken to. Don't eat any of the monster's food. Don't follow the monster anywhere. Call the monster sir and nothing else.
